With the combined effort of\nBOA and PICPA, Filipino CPAs can now apply to become an ASEAN CPA. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ASEAN CPA title will\nprovide you with market access to the rest of ASEAN member states, offering new\nopportunities in the highest growth economic regions in the world. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe should all be ready to\nface the competition from the other ASEAN countries that will result in\nchallenges to our accountants,\u201d said Chairman Tan-Torres. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can check if you are\neligible to apply by referring to PRC Resolution No. 1120 (A) s.2018: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>graduated\nwith an accredited accountancy degree<\/li><li>passed the\nCPA licensure examination program recognized by the Commission on Higher\nEducation (CHED) and the PRC;<\/li><li>with valid\nPRC registration and Professional ID<\/li><li>with 3\nyears cumulative relevant experience (5 years from passing CPA licensure)<\/li><li>complied\nwith required CPD training, and finally with PICPA Certification for ACPA<\/li><li>has been\nissued a Certification for ACPA application by the Accredited Professional\nOrganization (APO) and PRC that the applicant has no record of any violation of\ntechnical, professional or ethical standards, local and international,\napplicable to the practice of accountancy<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>To become an ASEAN CPA means\nyou can be able to take advantages of the demand for accountants in Singapore,\nMalaysia and other ASEAN countries and consider employment in these countries.
